Since the beginning of January we have been busy meeting our new brides to be for 2011/2012! We do advise that to avoid disappointment you book early (8-10 months in advance) as most popular dates get booked up pretty early!
Feel free to contact us and get a date in for your consultation to get the ball rolling…we can also advise you on photographers, cakes, flowers, dresses and accessories…
On New Years Day at 7.45am I was en-route to Hunton Park in Hertfordshire to prepare Louise (bride) and her 3 bridesmaids and 2 mums for a the wedding ceremony to take place around midday.
It was still dark and it felt like middle of the night as some party goers were heading home after their NYE celebrations had come to an end, just as I was heading to work! How times change, not so long ago that would have been me but now I need and value my beauty sleep and above all a clear head for work 🙂
Here are a few pictures of the preparations, more professional pictures to follow in a week or so.

On the 12th December Laura’s wedding took place at the Node in Codicote, Hertfordshire. Camilla and I arrived bright and early to have the bride, 3 bridesmaids and mother ready for the ceremony at 1pm!
Laura chose a vintage finger wave style with a low chignon at the back! The make up was very dewy and Laura certainly looked radiant. Here is a picture of the blushing bride (more pics to follow)
I would like to thank my loyal clients and friends who have been very understanding and sympathetic this past week. My father-in-law passed away suddenly on the 11th Dec and it has been a tough time for the whole family.
It has been a tough week as I have had to continue to fulfil my obligations and provide a professional service to all of my brides as well as be there for my husband, so thank you all who have made life as easy as possible!
Here’s hoping 2011 brings good health and luck for everyone.

Today I went to see my bride Kimberley bright and early at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel in Welwyn! It was a chilly minus 3 degrees outside and plenty of the white stuff on the ground which looked so beautiful and no doubt will look fab on the bride and grooms pictures!
I absolutely fell in love with the dress it was sparkly with delicate embroidery and set on a lovely netting which reminded me of vintage Hollywood glamour!
Here are a few snaps of the wedding preps!
Here’s a lovely thank you note from Stephanie who got married at Tewin Bury farm in October!
“Thank you so much for your work on the day. We were all delighted with our hair and make-up. I can’t believe it lasted so well and you couldn’t see my coldsore at all which was amazing! Camilla was lovely too. I would definately recommend you to anyone who was looking for wedding hair/make-up- very professional and excellent results”
