I’ve been a professional makeup artist for over 18 years, and what a journey it’s been. From bridal mornings and special events to confidence-boosting glam sessions, enhancing natural beauty has always been my passion.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve expanded deeper into the world of skincare — because beautiful makeup starts with healthy, well-cared-for skin. That experience has transformed the way I approach every face I work on.
Now, moving into 2026 and beyond, I’m bringing it all together.

Bespoke Bridal Hair & Makeup St Albans & Hertfordshire
It’s been a busy Summer with plenty of weddings for us here
at The Makeup Girl St Albans, myself and my team have beautified numerous
brides and their bridal parties including bridesmaids, flower girls and mums of
the bride and groom. Despite the appalling
weather in June/July our brides looked every bit flawless and glamorous with
our use of premium cosmetics and products that have stay put from early morning
till late!
August Bank Holiday weekend was our busiest yet and we
travelled throughout Hertfordshire, London, Bedfordshire, Essex and Bucks to
beautify brides and they looked amazing. It’s wonderful when it all comes
together and our clients are happy with their hair and makeup. We have met some
lovely brides and their families in the past few months! Whom have looked after
me, my assistants and of course my bump (I’m expecting a baby in Dec) with a
steady supply of cold drinks and sweet goodies…yummy and of course helping us
carry our heavy cases up and down gorgeous venues that don’t have lifts.
So it was an Amazing August and here’s to a Spectacular September
as the season is not over yet. I temporarily hang up my brush kit at the end of
October (to have my baby)for a few months but this doesn’t mean that I am not available to meet for a consultation

Hello, I’m not comfortable writing about myself nor do I particularly like the way I photograph, so putting up a picture is always a challenge. It’s ironic really as I spend most of my time making everyone else look and feel pretty or I’m featured in numerous wedding pics perhaps not looking my best as I’m working or it’s been an early start.
I don’t wear a great deal of makeup day to day, I moisturise and use a good eye cream but it is difficult as you get older to continue looking radiant on minimal sleep especially when you are a mum as well as a makeup artist! The pressure is on to compete with other makeup artist in their 20’s/30’s and for me in my 40’s it does feel like a
